Upper School Club Expo: Student Leaders in Action

S.A.
St. Luke’s Upper School clubs started the year with the annual Club Fair, a time to celebrate leadership and service at SLS. During this energetic event, the clubs’ student leaders pitch their group to other Upper School students, sharing details about what their club does and why students should participate. Upper Schoolers are encouraged to find their interests, follow their passions, and join a club (or two).

The clubs showcase a wide range of initiatives, including raising awareness of current events on campus, supporting and enhancing the missions of local nonprofits, hosting influential speakers and experts, and organizing service-oriented activities to benefit underserved communities and causes.

Over 35 student-led clubs and affinity groups were represented at the event, including The Ronald McDonald House Club to Building for Nonprofits, the Math Club, Women in STEM, the Asian Affinity Group, and The Pendulum Literary & Arts Magazine. Tables adorned with colorful posters and everything from books of British poetry to larger-than-life chess pieces were spread across the field.

St. Luke’s Service Leader Sally Rose Zuckert shared, “It was so wonderful to watch our community foster support for one another's interests, passions, and shared commitment to the common good. We certainly have an exciting year ahead!”

Students can join an existing club or launch a new one anytime during the year. Learn more about Clubs at SLS here. To see photos from the 2023 Upper School Club Fair, click here
